YESS girls’ movement is one of the many programs that AGR (association de guide du Rwanda) shares with other associations around the world. And on 11th Rwanda sent its 4th edition YESS participants. Rwanda YESS participants will be sent to Uganda, Malawi and Zambia for six months where they will be given different opportunities to travel, learn, explore and practice.

YESS girl’s movement is not a one-day journey. “it’s a journey of a lifetime” and one has to make different steps through the journey and one of those is the preparatory course. Before YESS participants goes to their host association all 40 participants from different 11 country have to meet for the preparatory course and this year its being held in Kampala.

YESS girls’ movement doesn’t stop after six months, after spending six months with their host associations YESS participants returns back to their home associations to share and apply the strength and experience from their host associations.
And this year Rwanda will also be hosting like all previous years and as always we are looking forward to meet and get to know our host participants from Kenya, Malawi, Bangladesh and Madagascar.

And we hope to learn and share in return a lot with them, especially Bangladesh as its their first time to participate in the YESS girl’s movement. We wish nothing but the best to all the YESS participant 2018.
