OUR PROGRAMMES
AGR provides a safe and supportive environment where girls thrive by doing a variety of exciting and fun activities. In collaboration with the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts and other parterns, we deliver the following programmes:
Amahoro Amani is a joint program between the Scout and Guide Associations of Burundi, North Kivu, South Kivu and Rwanda to promote peace in the region.
Free Being Me is a global badge programme using fun and interactive activities to grow girls’ self-esteem and body confidence.
Stop the Violence is a global campaign fighting to end violence against girls.
A youth exchange project with 5 partners in Uganda, Kenya, South Africa and Burundi. Youth Exchange South to South (YESS) Girls Movement is an exhange programme for young African women leaders from eight Girl Guiding associations.
12+ Programme is a mentorship 10 month programme that enables 10-12 year old girls to become informed decision-makers.
No to Alcohol and Drugs Abuse is a regional programme for youth in collaboration with IOGT-NTO Movement International Institute.
